Medical Infrared Imaging
FLIR high definition, radiometric cameras allow doctors to monitor the exact skin surface temperatures to perform quantifiable clinical evaluation and research. For precise medical detection of thermal patterns, auto-focus is crucial for an accurate medical analysis. Manual focus is also available through the software to fine tune the image. The FLIR camera system is calibrated with a sensitivity of 0.05 degrees to detect minute changes in body temperature. Examples of the Product line includes:

TotalVision Software
The cameras operate on MedHot TotalVision software which is the only thermal imaging software which includes anatomical outlines and overlays. The circulatory, lymphatic, and skeletal systems can be overlaid on top of the image to assist physicians in understnading the hyper/hypoactivity in underlying organs or vasculature for easier interpretations.. The zoom feature allows for faster image capturing which will increase the number of screenings per day. Regional analysis and time interval capturing are also additional features which set MedHot's software apart from other thermal analysis programs.

SafeScan not only offers highest quality training in internationally certified programs, it also offers the most sophisticated interpretation service for busy clinicians who would prefer for a highly qualified medical practitioner to prepare a thermography report for each patient on a pay-per-use system. SafeScan Inc. is a Colorado-based company nestled in a booming economy of new sustainability focused health and wellbeing businesses. Biomedical engineering is a relatively new degree offered at major universities. It has long been the dream that the founder of SafeScan Inc., Kimberly Schipke, M.S., to develop non-invasive technologies that empower the public to become pro-active about their health.
Kimberly Schipke, M.S. is a biomedical engineer with over six years of research experience in tissue engineering, cellular/tissue mechanobiology, and medical device design. She has presented her work at the Biomedical Engineering Society, the Institute of Biological Engineers, Vidya Pratishthan’s School of Biotechnology in Baramati, India and the California Institute for Human Sciences. She is co-founder and past-President of Bulldogs for Heart Health, a non-profit organization devoted to educating the youth in Mississippi about healthy food choices and exercise options in an effort to reduce childhood obesity. She has also worked as a compliance associate for an independent review board to oversee clinical research performed by pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. She is adept in the rules and regulations of the Food and Drug Administration as well as the Department for Health and Human Services, and she currently consults laboratories on how to raise their clinical research standards. She is a trainer in medical thermal imaging and helps scientists develop protocols for quantifying thermal energetic changes in the body with various bioenergetic devices and techniques. She is past-secretary of Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society, and a member of the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine, as well as, the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
